BEST UNIFORMS
Halloween is next week. It seems fitting to look ay the teams and
pick the best costumes that players hide behind when they take the field.
10) Pittsburgh Steelers -- I
think simple and solid when I see these colors.
9) Kansas City Chiefs - The
red against the black of the Raiders in all those great games I watched growing
up.
8) Chicago Bears - I am a
sucker for tradition and the Bears dress to intimidate.
7) San Diego Chargers -- My
one guilty pleasure. The baby blue jerseys
and the yellow bolt on the white helmets.
6) The Oakland Raiders -
What's not to love hating about these guys and their colors?
5) Cleveland Browns - Old
school in the white on white for home games.
Plain orange helmet.
4) Dallas Cowboys - Another team
that sports the white at home. The
simple star the most famous helmet logo?
3) Los Angeles Rams -- Back
in the day -- the all white home unis with the blue numbers -- blue and white
curly horn on the helmet.
2) Green Bay Packers -- Still
great after all these years -- The Green against a faded field for a late
season game -- that's football
3) Baltimore/Indy Colts -- At
least the Colts had the good sense to keep the best uniform in the game. Unitas, Bert Jones, Mike Curtis, Peyton
Manning -- Legends wore the horseshoe.
